My First Million - an exciting online gamification game

"My First Million" is an exciting online gamification game that introduces students at the Kundl Middle School to the world of stocks, real estate and start-ups. In a double lesson, the students play the game with me on their computers. The aim of the game is to earn one million euros through smart investment decisions.

The students have the freedom to decide for themselves how they want to invest their virtual money. The share prices and the increases in property values are based on real values to make the game as realistic as possible.

Before the game, there is a detailed briefing to prepare the students for the challenges ahead. After the game, there is a debriefing in which the experiences and learning content are reflected on and deepened.
