In this workshop, we looked at key financial topics specifically relevant to Expats:

Pensionskonto: We discussed the eligibility requirements for accessing the Austrian pension system, ways to check your Pensionskonto, and strategies to potentially increase your future pension benefits.

​

Investments: The fundamentals of investing were covered, including how to define your investment goals, assess your investment horizon, understand your risk profile, and the importance of diversification. We also reviewed the steps for making informed investment decisions.

Insurance: We outlined the essential (must-have) and optional (nice-to-have) types of insurance, explaining key concepts such as premiums, deductibles, coverage limits, and exclusions.

This workshop aimed to provide participants with the foundational knowledge needed to make informed financial decisions, supporting them in achieving financial security and independence.
